Boy Bands weren't so popular anymore because the pop market was over-saturated and more and more artists were beginning to develop on their own. While his friends decided to take a break from their singing career, Aldo wasn't even considered giving up.
Aldo decided that the best way to make his debut was with a drastic change. He changed his singing style, his personal look and target-audience, moving from teenagers to young adults. The only thing Aldo diSorbo decided to keep was his unique dancing skills.
The fans liked Aldo's new image and the 'bad boy attitude'. His career had a sudden boost when his personal life went bad. Surprisingly, having a public personal life increased his popularity and the sales of his album.
Aldo was dating another famous singer until a magazine published photos with her cheating. Aldo found out about it during a live tv show and had a phone argument with the girl. Apparently, the public break-up was viewed in a positive manner by Aldo's fans.
