After a series of tv commercials for soda and clothes, his mother saw an add for a new tv show for teenagers. She proposed to Aldo to participate and when he accepted, they both flew to L.A. for the casting. Aldo diSorbo 'fell in love' immediately with the crew and the stoplights.
As he admitted afterwards, he decided right then that even if he didn't get the part, he will try again and again until he will be able to star in a tv show. But Aldo didn't have to wait because the directors liked his style and invited him to join the team.
In 1993, Aldo got a permanent spot in another famous tv show for teenagers, but this time as a performer. Although it was all new for him, Aldo tried his best to keep up with the show and he practiced regularly, always spending more time preparing than his team-mates.
During the year spent in this show Aldo diSorbo met 4 boys to whom he got really attached to and with whom he performed regularly. This was the basis for a life-time friendship and a new pop band.
